After two years, she's ready quit, and we follow her on what she hopes is her last day in the trade. She wakes at 9 AM, gets her first call and a marriage proposal, checks in with her doctor, pays final visits to various clients, arranges to lease her flat, passes on her black book to a colleague, tries to beg off on an impromptu session with Japanese businessmen, has a quick conversation with her brother, and makes a couple of charitable contributions. All the while, her eyes on the clock, there's the threat of her pimp finding out about her plans. If she pulls it off, what awaits? |

On their
Blu-ray,
Code Red use a DTS-HD Master dual-mono track (24-bit) in the
English language. Dagmar's Hot Pants, Inc.
has no strong aggressive moments. There are no notable sound effects.
Audio is similarly weak with a score credited to
Les Baxter (How
to Stuff a Wild Bikini,
Switchblade
Sisters, The
Man With the X-Ray Eyes,
The
Comedy of Terrors,
Panic in the Year Zero,
The Beast Within, the
US version of
Baron Blood, etc.) The
title song is 'You Say Love' is sung by Mike Clifford. Dialogue
is audible-enough in the lossless transfer. Code Red offer optional English
subtitles on their Region 'A'- locked
Blu-ray.

Vernon P. Becker's Dagmar's Hot Pants,
Inc.
isn't very good at all. I can usually be somewhat forgiving to this
genre if it has some decent humor, cheesecake eroticism, a modicum of
production values, a minutely engaging plot etc. Dagmar's Hot Pants,
Inc.
has none of those, imo with bad sets and obvious wigs. It comes across
as a low-budget slap-dash effort attempting to capitalize on the
sexuality angle, especially
Diana Kjær (where the term 'bombshell'
is debatable and you never see her, or anyone, wearing 'hot pants'.) I
suppose that's obvious and there is nostalgia-value for some. As far as
this goes - I thought Code Red's recent
Blu-ray
of
Dirty O'Neil offered significantly more.
