Comments

Soda Pictures' dual-layer DVD is barebones, but they've still given this 3-perf 35mm (1.78:1 matted to 2.35:1 in digital post and screened in 4-perf anamorphic 35mm and D-Cinema digital versions) feature a high-bitrate encoding that probably looks as good as it can in standard definition - apart from a trace of edge enhancement - given the muted palette and the many moody low-light and night scenes. Audio is available in original 5.1 and 2.0 stereo downmixes. The 2.0 option is sufficient (and the default track) given the restrained nature of the film; however, the 5.1 does offer up some surround surprises (from the protagonist blasting rock music in his headphones to a buzzing fly in the ear). The only extra is a trailer (there are also some start-up trailers).
