| Comments: | The Pathé R2 discs is by far the superior image ( The bit-rate is almost double! ). The whites are a bit too hot on the R1 (check out the background under her left arm in the first pic and how it blends with the edge enhancement) and the R1 has some color bleeding (her hand on the letter in the last picture). The R2 is also cropped. Trouble with the R2 is there are no English sub-titles, if you require them. I'd give the edge in Extras to the R1 for the "Conversation" short, but if you can speak French or Spanish, it is a no brainer to get the Pathe R2 version. | |
