The Altered Innocence
Blu-ray
Walerian Borowczyk passed away in 2006 at 82-years old. This fascinating
documentary details his short animated film career in the 1950s, his
move to France in the1960s and live-action cinema, and the controversial
explicit content where he continued to push the envelope with his
filmmaking career being forgotten by directing Emmanuelle 5 as
his second last film.
Love Express. The Disappearance of Walerian Borowczyk
is about as interesting as it gets considering he was a relatively
well-known contributor to art-house cinema - and we have reviewed more
than a 1/2 dozen of his films on disc. |
