NOTE: The below Blu-ray captures were taken directly from the Blu-ray disc.

ADDITION: Network Blu-ray (November 2020): Network have transferred Don Chaffey's Danger Within to Blu-ray. It is described as "a brand-new High Definition remaster from original film elements". There is a supportive bitrate exporting a decent, pleasing, image with good contrast. the 1080P shows examples of depth. I saw a vertical scratch persist for a few seconds but otherwise a clean image. The presentation is fine, not dynamic but a full notch above SD.

On their Blu-ray, Network use a linear PCM mono track (16-bit) in the original English language (with brief un-translated Italian in a couple of scenes.) There are effects, gunfire and trucks and a score by Francis Chagrin (An Inspector Calls The Snorkel) plus some may also recognize Henry Himmel's "Ne Partez Pas Deja". It is likewise clean, consistent dialgue without egregious flaws. Network offer optional English subtitles on their Region 'B' Blu-ray.

The Network Blu-ray offers a only an image gallery and in the root of the disc are two PDF files regarding the production.

Don Chaffey (One Million Years B.C., Jason and the Argonauts, some episodes of The Prisoner TV series) can craft a film well and Danger Within has a lot of appeal, especially for fans of the PoW-tunneling genre ala The Great Escape. Great Brit cast with Todd, Attenborough, Bernard Lee, Dennis Price... and if you squint you can see Michael Caine very briefly in the stage performance sequence. There are some layered stories of desperation and betrayal in the PoW camp.  The Network Blu-ray is bare-bones but I enjoyed the film - it really satisfied me once I got into it. Recommended!
