Ken Dixon's FAMOUS T&A compiles nude scenes from a number of Charles Band pick-ups for his early video labels Wizard Video, Cult Video, and Force Video; however there are also clips from a handful of other films he didn't release to tape. A scantily-clad Sybil Danning (CHAINED HEAT) introduces each of the clips starting with Phyllis Davis' exposure in TERMINAL ISLAND which includes a number of rare outtakes showing more than seen in the finished cut of the film (the scene from the film is offered up for comparison); likewise, her appearance in SWEET SUGAR (not released by any of Band's labels but later by Continental) also includes several outtakes. The nudity of FLASH GORDON's Ornella Muti is illustrated with several sunny romps from SUMMER LOVE; however, she was sixteen at the time and may have been body-doubled (as she was in the same year's OASIS OF FEAR). Forty-two year old Ursula Andress takes it all off for Sergio Martino's SLAVE OF THE CANNIBAL GOD (a 1979 New Line Cinema pick-up released on video by Band's Wizard Video) while Brigitte Bardot takes it off in IF DON JUAN WERE A WOMAN (although Danning neglects to mention her equally notable nude co-star in these scenes: Jane Birkin, aka Mrs. Serge Gainsbourg). There are plenty of Laura Gemser nude scenes to choose from, but Band was limited here to EMANUELLE AROUND THE WORLD (a Jerry Gross pick-up distributed by Band on VHS through Wizard Video).

Claudia Jennings (GATOR BAIT) - who died tragically young in 1979 - is stripped and menaced in THE SINGLE GIRLS (a Dimension Pictures release that made it to video via Force as PRIVATE SCHOOL). Jennings was also in TRUCK STOP WOMEN, but clips from that film are used to illustrate busty Russ Meyer starlet Uschi Digard's exposure. Elvira aka Cassandra Peterson's one nude scene from THE WORKING GIRLS is shown here while Edy Williams (BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS) is "half-clad, all bad" as DR. MINX (another Dimension Pictures release distributed by Wizard). Jacqueline Bisset shows more than a wet T-shirt in the Greek-shot SECRETS while EIGHT IS ENOUGH's Laurie Walters doffs it all for THE HARRAD EXPERIMENT (released on tape by Wizard). Vanity was probably less than pleased when FAMOUS T&A unearthed her undraped performance in TANYA'S ISLAND getting groped by an ape (and probably less pleased that the footage is available on DVD again, even though the full film is not available legitimately).

Lesser knowns like Cara Burgess strip for THE MANHANDLERS, while Barbara Leigh sheds her clothing in more footage from TERMINAL ISLAND, more clips from THE SINGLE GIRLS also illustrate Joan Prather's stalking and stripping, and BACHELOR PARTY's Angela Aames played a naughty Little Bo Peep in FAIRY TALES. Footage of bottomless motorcyclist Laura Jane Leary appears throughout the film, but I don't know from where. Although several of the films here are now available in superior digital transfers, this (and the earlier documentary THE BEST OF SEX & VIOLENCE) are the only places where you can see outtakes from SWEET SUGAR and TERMINAL ISLAND. The editing is pretty ragged throughout, but it delivers the goods in a more efficient manner than FILMGORE.
