Spin a Dark Web is a British noir thriller from Sony Pictures, recently made available by their made-on-demand DVD service. Known in the UK as Soho Incident, the film is a story of a Canadian boxer (Lee Patterson) who gets messed up in the British rackets through a dreamy big-boss's sister played by femme fatale Faith Domergue. There is also a good girl on a side Rona Anderson waiting for him to wise up. A fast-paced B-noir thriller that proves that noir sensibility was not just American. The film is available in a progressive, anamorphic transfer with a very good contrast, per usual high standards we expect from Sony. The mono soundtrack is fine and a full-screen trailer is available. |
