Eureka give us the chance to watch the film in the original Cantonese mono audio track. As if that wasn't enough, there is also the choice to watch the film with either English or Mandarin audio tracks. There are 5.1 surround options here too. These tracks are offered in 24-bit linear PCM and DTS-HD Master Audio. Very cool to have all these options. The various comic-book style martial arts sounds really have a certain power to them on this track, with a fair separation of dialogue and sound. The music is thanks to the duo of Romeo Díaz and James Wong, notable for composing "Once Upon a Time in China" and the "Chinese Ghost Story" series of films. There are optional English subtitles. There are also optional 'gala gala happy subtitles' for that particular sequence. They weren't originally intended although English audiences may be curious. This is a Region-B Blu-ray.

There are a bunch of neat extras on this Blu-ray, starting with a bunch of interviews from the director, star, and stunt choreographers. These interviews alone make up a good hour of footage. Also here are outtakes, which are normally skippable, but when Jackie Chan is involved, you know you're in for a treat. We also get the Japanese ending credits sequence, and 2 trailers for the film. There is a collector's booklet available on the first run printing.

This film is peak Jackie Chan zaniness. Though some may prefer the slightly less tongue-in-cheek Chan offerings, I love this stuff. The over-the-top comedy really works here, and thanks to Eureka!'s awesome transfer, fans finally have a copy they can hang onto. Recommended!
