Verónica (or Vero, ably potrayed by newcomer Sandra Escacena), has a bit more on her plate than the average teenage girl: with her mother (Ana Torrent) constantly working, Vero is left in charge of her younger sisters and brother, feeding them, getting them dressed and to school in the morning, and babysitting most nights. On top of this she must deal with the usual trappings of adolescence. For some relief from the daily pressures of her life, she and her friend Rosa buy a ouija board from a local vendor, and decide to try and speak to the spirit of Vero's deceased father. But something goes wrong, and a (not so) ghostly figure follows Vero back to her home, terrifying her to the point of madness.

NOTE: The below Blu-ray captures were taken directly from the Blu-ray disc.

NOTE: Firstly, at present this Wild Side Blu-ray on Amazon.FR states this has 'Sous-titres : Anglais' or English subtitles - it does not.

It again is catering only to a French-language-only audience with mandatory French subtitles for the original (Spanish) audio. It also offers a French DUB neither changeable on the fly. This severely limits the potential audience of this product. We have found a Spanish Blu-ray that is supposed to have English subtitles.

Wild Side's image seems adept - dual-layered with a high bitrate. You can check the captures. This is a Region 'B' Blu-ray.

There are no extras and, strangely, English menus.

It seemed interesting - I'd love to see it with a better understanding of the dialogue. I may pick up the Spanish Blu-ray. As for now this Wild Side package is only geared to French audiences.
