The original aspect ratio is 1.85:1, but Warner has commonly chosen to do this DVD release in 1.78:1 for 16X9 TV owners. I haven't seen this movie before but the 1.78:1 framing looked good enough to me. In the Extras Feature commentary Cohen says he is very happy with the DVD transfer. He wasn't that pleased with the domestic prints when the movie was shown theatrically, and he preferred the prints made in England better.

There is some speckles in a few scenes and I noticed some color problems at one specific point, but otherwise the image is generally good without artifacts or edge enhancement. The flesh tones and colors looks fine (Cohen wanted the movie to look as a "colored black and white" movie).

Not much in the extras apartment, but I always enjoys Larry Cohen's commentaries. He talks about low budget filmmaking, his work with Bernard Hermann, his problems to get the film released widely in America, the success of the movie etc. out of
