Living ilegally in Paris, Tiresia is a Brazilian transsexual, who gets kidnapped by a poet obsessed with his beauty, only to be blinded by him, as his beauty fades due to missing hormone treatments, and left for dead. Having lost the sight, Tiresia now develops an ability to see the future.

In his second film, Bonello spins his story upon the Greek myth of Tiresia, who was both man and woman, who was blinded by Hera when failing to settle a dispute between her and Zeus on love, and was given the gift of soothsaying by Zeus as compensation for having no sight.

Comments While a few scenes display artifacts, the majority of the transfers is very clean. Good contrast and very little manipulation, if any. Details are sharp and colors true. A very beautiful progressive anamorphic transfer with excellent subtitles. There are extensive audio options including 5.1, DTS and 2.0. The only extra is a trailer.
