directed by Michael Hoffman
United Kingdom 1985
Two young Scot lads, who really hasn’t neither much going for them nor
much brains, come up with a brilliant plan to get some money. They dress
up and rob tourist busses in the Highlands. But their plan quickly takes a
drastic turn, as, while the police is hunting them, they themselves have
become the biggest tourist attractive since the Loch Ness monster.
A small gem of a film, full of heart, who doesn’t seem to have aged one
bit the last twenty years.

Next to a flawless image, and considering
this to be a DVD-5 (3.5 GB), only makes it more impressive. The only thing I can put my finger on is the subtitles, which only is active during non-English language (the Japanese commercial for instance). A shame for those with hard-of-hearing. |
