Comments |
Both releases are taken from
the same source master but on the region 1 DVD was a heavy electronically
sharpness applied which result in some bad edge enhancements. The region 2
DVD has the same problem but not as excessive as the region 1. The opening titles including the text roll are shown via multi-angle in English, Spanish or German language depending which DVD you have and what language option you choose. The same goes for the alien language subtitles. All menu have multiple story's. The menu screen shots show 2 variation of them. On the German release you can see them with English or German depending what language you choose in the DVD player setup. Both DVD are discontinued and Episode 1 will be re-released with some minor fixes by George Lucas to match up with Episode 2 - 6. - EnricoE |
