Comments Comparing these two editions was interesting to demonstrate the good work done on the R1 Special Edition released two years before the R2 Belgian one.

VIDEO

R1 is sharper and has neutral colors while the R2 has an awkward blue shade and too much contrast on a few scenes (capture #2). Indeed the Belgian ed. presents hazy pictures and sharp detail.

One trouble with the R1 - a slightly cropped picture on both sides.

SOUND

The DTS original English version appears only on the R1 SE. Dolby Digital 5.1 versions are correct on both discs.
