I see problems in both releases - the Region 2 is sharper, but the colors appear off - skin tones are decidedly red. The Region 1 is cropped negligibly on the sides and the Region 2 on the top (generally). Extras are the same except the Region 1 has included TV Spots (big deal <sarcasm>). The Region 1 offers more audio options. Most prominently the Region 1 has some bad edge enhancement. Contrast on the Region 2 is superior. We are recommending the Region 2 edition. - Gary W. Tooze |
