Comments:

NOTE: The below Blu-ray captures were taken directly from the Blu-ray disc.

The Scorpion Releasing 1080P transfer is in the 1.66:1 aspect ratio on a single-layered Blu-ray with a supportive bitrate. The HD presentation looks acceptable without digitization, it carries some grain texture, has a few speckles, occasional depth and decent, colors with richness etc. The source is in acceptable condition and the HD transfer is adept. It is described as a "New 2018 scan with extensive color correction".

Scorpion Releasing use a DTS-HD Master 2.0 at 24-bits in the original Italian language.  There are plenty of Giallo-esque effects in the film mostly focusing on violence. The score is by Berto Pisano (Death Smiles on a Murderer, Burial Ground)
and suits the film's genre, tension and mystery. There are optional English subtitles on the region FREE Blu-ray disc.

Scorpion include a stellar commentary by Troy Howarth who is no fan of the film but is a appreciative of the gals in the film; Leonora Fani and Mariangela Giordano providing interesting background and the film. He's funny, informative and it gives the package solid value. There are also some trailers of other, related, films and it has a reversible sleeve (see image below) and a folded poster.

Giallo in Venice is quite graphic. Yes, a
Giallo (hard to deny it with the title) but is at the fringe of the genre's appealing style. It held my attention for even more than the obvious salaciousness. Those keen may wish indulge in this Blu-ray that sports the valuable commentary as well and a neat package! Great job by Scorpion for bringing us efforts like this lesser-scene genre cinema.
