Well,
MGM appear to be trying to pull one over on us. This is a non-progressive image -
combing/ghosting (see last capture) and all the inherent
artifacts that are associated. Very poor. Funny thing is they made it
dual-layered?! Where an HD tape sourced image on a single layer would
have been the way to go as they didn't bother adding any extra features.
Perhaps there is a reason why this wasn't transferred over, but I'll
wager it was the almighty $ again. I don't have too much good to say -
its soft with lots of blurriness, crappy subtitles and no extras - and
this is a great film folks!. Shame on you MGM!
