than you standard fare for this genre (teen occult?) and the commonplace North
American obsession with automobiles
drives the plot. well acted and genuinely scary - a kind of Halloween-ish
op-corn flic.

The new Region 1 (and 4) disc looks pretty good. I'm sure we'll be adding the old NTSC version soon to this comparison. Solid extras on the new edition with a commentary and 20 deleted scenes. Good contrast and sharp - I can't tell if its edge enhancement I see, but if its there - its not overwhelming. I hate those yellow subtitles and there are a ton of options on the PAL DVD, but for the obvious we are going with the new SE. Halloween is coming ! - Gary Tooze |
