Has no one reported to you that the problem with the box is that all 8 discs have been badly warped due to idiotic packaging? Some nut decided to shrinkwrap the book holding the discs, and this wrap was so tight on the right side that it warped them all. (The left side is more than an inch thick, so here the discs can "float" without pressure, but the right side forces them tightly together.) This extra shrinkwrap was not needed, as the thick plexi "holder" housing the book has already been protected with a thin "floppy" plexi case PLUS an outer shrinkwrap. Whoever thought of this should be fired without trial. Also, this thick plexi-holder is extremely heavy and sensitive. It costs a fortune to ship, and of the ten copies that arrived to my dealer in Malmoe, NINE were cracked - same so badly that they fell to pieces when unwrapped. My player could play all eight discs, but seven of them made such horrible sounds while playing, that it was impossible to watch the first 10 or so minutes of each film. So it is not puzzling that your Rebecca and Notorious played without problems. They were all decently packed from the start in normal DVD-packaging. This overdesigned Fox horror is probably the worst example of its kind ever. Today I recieved the Gregory Peck-box from Universal. Oh, how I wish that Fox had put their Hitchcocks in the same kind of packaging. I hope the price will be high for Fox. My dealer got all ten sold copies back from his upset customers. It will cost him a fortune to send them back to the States. And there´s no point in asking for ten new copies in return. Not untill the whole thing has been redesigned and repackaged.
