I had very high hopes for this release... and they have been exceeded. Amazing. I have not been able to go through all of the Extras  yet ( 2nd Disc), but a cursory glance and it is right up with their best. Sharp, perfect contrast, no visible damage... This is far better than I have ever seen this marvelous film before. It is looking like a candidate for DVD of the Year... Criterion are the Kings! out of
