Comments

The Sinema Diable release is taken from a tape master of a splicy film print (probably a composite as image quality varies). Some nudity and violence is missing from the US version but some of that may be due to print damage. The German release is superior in terms of color and audio except for brief instances in the English track where dialogue is re-looped or missing altogether that were not missing in the Sinema Diable release. The German DVD also reveals a sliver of picture information on the sides as well as on the bottom, though the Sinema Diable picture is slightly squeezed and sometimes reveals more picture information on the sides than the German DVD (this makes sense since neither is in the correct aspect ratio and are sourced from different film elements). The German DVD is recommended until the specs are available for Image Entertainments NTSC undated upcoming release.
