All transfers originate from the same source material. The UK transfer is a 1:1 port from the German Ufa edition. The french video shows a considerably better balanced contrast level with better shadow delineation and grey shades (pic#4) but it's too dark in corners (pic#1, left upper corner), cropped at the left side & the bottom (pic#2, pic#5), displaying color noise (pic#1, background & roof), stronger print damage (pic#5) and the picture appears a bit softer overall (pic#3). |
