I too dislike the Hollywood formula, and this is as far away from that as possible ( excepting that Good beats evil in the end ...who'd have guessed ? )
I applaud the lack of generic filmaking, but do not applaud the jab at faith. Its too easy nowadays to do that. Its usually called Jerry Springerisms. I don't like when Howard Stern does it either. Lets pick a topic and cut it up and see how much controversy we can accumulate in the end hoping that translates to free publicity. No not for me...
