True Romance is a classic movie. I would rate it even higher than Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, both Quentin Tarantino related < directing or written>.

It only has one flaw. The violence in it is a little too gratuitous. I believe that without that it would have been much more highly acclaimed by critics. The story is probably Tarantino's best. But while I am at it … what has he done lately ?

This movie has so many great acting performances: Slater Arquette Hopper Walken Pitt Kilmer Oldham Sizemore Penn The list can go on…

Absolutely thoroughly enjoyable with cute dialogue and down to earth performances. I can watch this once a year for the rest of my life. The DVD transition was flawless. Again I state without the excessive violence it is one of the great modern American movies…

4 ˝ stars out of 5
