We are preparing our
Year End Poll for the best disc releases of 2020. We are hoping
you will participate refreshing your memory of the year's releases
HERE: This year will be doing it the same as last year in that we will NOT be posting as many entire individual selections but rather occasional comments that enlighten or support overall winners (or deviations from Top selections). Patrons will receive preference... and for those who identify all the releases represented in our above banner. Apologies, but the old
systems was ridiculously labor-intensive and produced a bloated,
sloppy, webpage. Our tallying will remain the same (10 points for a
first place vote, 9 for a second, down to one point for a tenth.) We
hope to expose some of the important, and often clandestine or
neglected digital packages, in both Blu-ray
and 4K UHD, that surfaced in the 2020
calendar year. Certain DVD releases may be mentioned if enough
participants vote for them. Polls will close at Midnight (EST) on
Monday
