The Blu-ray of Children of Heaven is reviewed / compared HERE

Aside from it being bare bones in the extras dept. this is a wonderful disc, certainly better than other non-oar stuff that Alliance has put out in the past. The anamorphic image is strong, vibrant realistic colors, good contrasts, reasonable black levels, no strobbing whites, no edge enhancement, but a few scratches and hairs. My only complaint with the disc is that it defaults to "Close Captioned for Hearing impaired" and you may not notice that till the first 5 minutes when you have to make the adjustment (if necessary).
